Bangladesh Army crash, July 2013

A pilot sustained injuries as a training helicopter of Bangladesh Army crash landed at Chouthan in Dhamrai upazila on the outskirts of the capital yesterday. Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release said trainee pilot Major Syed Nazrul Islam along with co-pilot Lt Col Ariful Bari made an emergency landing due to technical fault while they were on a training flight.

Seems to be a 206L.

Are these popular for trainers?

A case of Senior Officer syndrome, perhaps?

"You have control!" (he! he!)
"No you ****, you have control!"

CRUNCH!

Can't think where I've heard that one before!

According Helihub.com Reg nr. is S3-BMK
According Rotorspot.nl S3-BMK is w/o (written off)
I could not find conformation of this elsewhere on the web.

Yes it made me wonder a bit too.
but on this link you can see the aft end of a K
S3-BMK
And the accident reports of helihub.com are pretty good up to speed.
