Hey Peter...what You don't see in the click is the knees doing the autopilot thingy 
Any half skilled Instructor would have/should have taught You to fly with the Left hand & the knees, for drinking, unwrapping sandwiches, revising flight plans, folding maps, adjusting clothing etc
