AW139 Emergency return to Doha
On Wednesday 18th April a Gulf Helicopter AW139 made an Emergency return to Doha airport while transferring personnel offshore.
All further flights cancelled until further notice.
Any other information anybody ??

Flights never stopped eh 
Gulf Helicopters might not have stopped the flights but Maersk certainly stopped all the flights carrying their personnel
It's now 3rd time lucky for Gulf Helicopters that no one has been hurt after a tail related incident, glad all pax are okay.

I am interested to know if they got to fly the scenario we have done in the sim with the shallow approach after determining how slow you can fly the approach, and steering with the collective on the ground and all that stuff 
or was it all more benign than that ?

Alternative Transportation Offshore
Flights never stopped. Traffic as usual.
Anybody have any idea how this malfunction presented itself?
