Smile A little something for your wife???

This video was taken in 2004 at a fair. A daredevil showman showed his home-built helicopter. This vehicle consists of a tripod with two kart engines and two counter-rotating rotor blades. It actually needs only one engine to fly. The second engine is for safety. The vehicle is controlled by weight shift. For rotations around its own axis, a rear aileron is attached. The pilot sits on a bicycle saddle and is roped.

Great for crossing the crocodile infested rivers north of here, or power line surveys.

Especially if you want to get rid of her because the darn thing obviously won't autorotate.

perhaps in the next version, the exhaust will be in the back..

My ears are bleeding in sympathy. That thing must be loud enough to make ear plugs pointless! Glad to see he's taking safety seriously though, what with the helmet and everything.
