Cabri G2 impossible to buy ?

Guys and Gals

Am seriusly looking at purchasing one for training school, however have e mailed the company 3 times over the past week, tried phoning all to no avail.
Anyone in the know about the company or are they not interested in selling helicopters ?
Thinking about it, it would seem to be the norm for the helicopter industry to have shocking customer service or is this a result of Eurocopter being " behind it "
This is a serious enquiry !

H500

I see from your posting history that you also had trouble buying a Schweizer in 2006.

Only positive....
I need to send my son to train on "something"
Cabri G2 is my first choice...
35 G bench tested cockpit
and in real life - EC pilots crash test in Germany, year ago
makes me confident in that way....
Than rotor system with fair inertia, than Aeroazur floats,
than fair price/performance are
all in favor to that....

Perhaps it is just me ! Yes tried to buy a new Schweizer in 2006 but you wouldnt believe the hassle as I didnt want doors or removeable duals just the dual stubs. Was told that was impossible, then after buying a second hand one was told it was possible,I gave up as i got fed up being lied to.

Gives you that warm feeling, no reply to emails & there you are trying to buy £200.000 machine.
What responce on the phone?
9A I am glad things are Improving , it sounds as if your dealings were not as smooth as you would have hoped? do they want to sell the things, if so give the CUSTOMER the courtesy of a reply.
Sounds like sales want a good kicking & maybe the department head being asked to finding another position, it does not auger well for after sales service
And people winge about MD
It does appear that customers come very low on helicopter company's radar, possibly if the government agency's get their act together & start demanding value there will be a seed change in thinking, (not holding breath though)

To be fair 9A plus has been great at communication. The sad thing is the factory cant be bothered. I want to go and see and talk to the factory about maintenance, support etc etc before buying one let alone replacing the other 300 ! Makes me wonder what service i will get on spares and support if they are too busy to even have the courtsey of replying to an e mail about purchasing a machine.
Our industry need a good kicking, lots in the industry think they are wonderful when in fact they have no idea about cutomer service or come to that providing a service. All this at a time of recession - unbelievable, and I am a customer with cash to spend

Sounds very like Eurocopter
It's probably because you wanted some info on their helicopter which you weren't approved to see as they didn't invite you to purchase one of their helicopters

Running cost

Hi Guys,

can somebody give an idea of the running cost, I would love one for our flying school.

Any problems so far from people that operate it?

Thanks

PPRuNe's policy on Advertising is such that I have to draw the line somewhere on this thread. Open discussion is one thing, but 9Aplus is in an invidious position trying to maintain a balance between answering questions and 'selling his wares'

I suggest that a PM to 9Aplus or a visit to his home page (in his profile) may be a better solution, and avoid me having to close this thread

Fully agree on that, 9Aplus

Nice informative site 9A
I presume you acting as agents?, if so I would be even more annoyed than H500, you are being done a disservice by them not referring the enquiry to you.

You on the other hand appear to be pushing the product & following up on an enquiry.
Shame that the manufacturers are so busy? \ uninterested that they don't bother to put an agents Email address on & press forward.
