R66 found washed up on Baltic beach

Anyone know the events behind a R66 getting washed up on a Baltic beach? Local Swedish press recon on it being washed off the deck of British yacht Capella C.

They're known as 'Expedition' yachts and are, typically, conversions of large Trawlers, Survey/research or pilot vessels. It would appear she is the latter, having been built initially for the Dutch navy.
