OEM pilot flight hour awards

How religiously do PPRuNers apply for the pilot flight hour awards offered by the various helicopter manufacturers? And do you actually wear the patches/badges, or just toss them in the drawer with the logbook?

A quick search shows at least three of the OEMs offering such awards:
Any others? Do Agusta or MD offer a similar award? Does Robinson provide an "I survived 1000 hours" award?

We had an American (no body else was much interested) within the company who used to claim on everybody's behalf (whether you wanted it or not) whatever the company's had to offer. The only item going in those days was plaques as pictured.

A nice memento I guess afterall.

I've spent nearly all my time in Eurocopter and Westland products for which there are no badges, but I do think I deserve a badge for surviving 6 and a half hours in an R22!

You certainly need certifying in one way or another.

In my defence, the bloke teaching me R22 had a total of 1500 hours, ALL on that type! Now that really does deserve an award from uncle Frank.

Ah, yes, I have over 14,000 accident-free hours, and one hour which DID contain an accident - more like 20 seconds actually - would that matter?

Less than 3 weeks after completing the online form that Sikorsky has on their website I received by courier in Thailand ( not cheap) a very handsome wooden plaque, a patch and lapel pin all for free.

Well done Sikorsky!

Reckon I could put in for a star and bar from the Bell 47 mob, and now the R22 mob. Only two bingles, 1in each.

However I know a bloke just up the road from me who has just passed my total, although he swears not, but - ALL of his are on R22. He may have a bare endorsement on the R44 but I can't remember it. He should get a star and bar with leaves as he has not had a single bingle and only a couple of emergencies in that whole time, neither of which required immediate landing, afaik.
