I can't see the pilots accepting this proposal to become the lowest paid amongst their peers for the next few years!!

as one of the expats trying to get back home...interesting about the attempt to stall the 1st July 2009 EBA.

I can't speak for the GHPA but am mighty pleased it has finally come to fruition. Bringing CHC GO up to parity with the Oz industry rates is one of the issues much talked about. If this is possible within reasonable time then working overseas will still remain viable....otherwise we will see many an expat (Australian) pilot trying to get back to Oz.

Interesting times but am still optimistic......hey, what's the price of oil these days ???
