I would assume that before Exxon Mobil signed a contract with Hevilift due diligence was done and no reasons to doubt Hevilift's ability to fulfill the needs of the contract.

Fixed wing in oz sold long time ago.. the people who brought that section have gone buggerup.

Think they still have a rotor AOC however.

I hear they are looking for anyone / everyone at the moment.
Fixed Wing Drivers, Rotary Wing Drivers, Loadmaster Supervisors, 1 x CEO, Chief Crewman, etc. etc. They are walking out the door in a continuous line. Gotta be a problem there some where???
From what I have been told, (over a beer), the Dutchmen need to get their heads out of their,,,,,, Clogs. Poor old Jan Senior must be so disappointed in the Booij boys. But in answer to your post, if you know which way is "up", they will probably hire you.

I hear the reason for the the hiring is expansion, in PNG and Asia. Fixed wing 2 new ATR s extra 412s and 407s. CEO was only there short term, to get Hevilift back on their feet, which he has done, and now moving on.
(Ya gotta know who to ask.)

cheers

JB

So what is the problem that "gotta be somewhere"
Was at their place in Hagen the other day, great facility, good aircraft and very busy people.

Do you know something or just a sh1t stirrer.

They are certainly not desperate for pilots, I know a few well qualified blokes who exceed the mins and have not heard a whisper in response to applications.

I agree with Heliringer

They hired a few pilots before the end of 2010, and are good for helicopter pilots at the moment. No idea about fixed wing drivers though.

I heard that a couple of engineers were recently offered contracts promised in the mail, only to have the whole thing drop in a heap with the Head Office - one had already quit his job!

Apparently the engineers are still walking out in big numbers, for various reasons. There is always a little bit of movement between the companies in PNG but this seems to be a lot more than that...

The overheads appear to be getting bigger.

And if you look over on the D&G forum it is not just engineers getting this treatment.
Geeup, would you care to give us a little more detail on what you mean?

HeviLift

Does anyone know what is happening in Hevilift? It would seem that they're expanding further into south east Asia as their website has vacancies for a Bangkok-based regional manager and a Singapore-based assistant manager. I understand that the Indonesian operation is gaining strength.

Yes: one fixed wing and one rotary wing CP.

Nothing unusual in that, I had to have two CP positions as I was operating FW and RW on my AOC. Luckily I was approved for both positions

OR perhaps - 1 helicopter VFR CP and 1 helicopter IFR CP. That is the way they used to be operating.

If two CPs have left at the same time then it is a reflection on the company that there may be a management issue. Is that is the point that you are trying to make?
