Please Help - Bose Aviation X Mic ID Problem
I'm trying to find out which mic (dynamic or electret) my Aviation X headset has. I purchased it in the US and for various reasons have never used it and need to know before selling it on.
It is the "for helicopter" version (coiled lead, portable battery pack, US Nato plug) and the number on the box is 031963-H.
I cannot for the life of me find out for sure which mic is installed. There is a number on the battery pack: AHX-32-04. Anyone know if this designates mic type? Or anyone know how to ID mic type?
Thanks in advance.

Bravo73 - I'm trying to find out to answer a question from a possible eBay buyer and I pessimistically thought it may take ages to get a response and might get better luck here. I have just emailed them now though.
The part number doesn't correspond to either of those you kindly listed ManOnTheSticks! The number is under the boom wind-screen yes? Mine is P/N 755-0019. Perhaps it is different cos it is a US purchase and not a UK one?
Hopefully US customer services are quick and I'll find out soon from the horses mouth.
Any other info greatly received.
Thanks guys.

Perhaps a phone call to "headset services" at shoreham, Found them very helpful in the past.
Also I think the electret mic is rectangular shape with rounded end, the dynamic one a round shape lump on the end of the boom..(dont quote me though. it may be a different manufacturer that does that)

Found a direct line to Aviation X Headset specialists in the US. The guy I spoke to confirmed the above (cheers tony 1969) about the appearance of the mics.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.
