Great pics, John - yours and John Gollings'.

Looking at them brought back happy memories of very enjoyable flights with you last year.

This is one from the King Fire of 12 guys running, (left side of picture), to be picked up after having been caught in a bad place. They deployed shelters, but were still not in a good place. Pilot Gary Dahlen told them to move and start running. Long story short---two 205's, a crane, and myself in a 206 doing Helco and all 12 lived to fight another day.

Read the story here.

I was just a small part----I was launched to do the "Helco" or top cover once Gary had the guys on the run already. Most all the credit goes to him.

DROOOOOOL. I sure wish i had the cash saved to get certified and possibly getting to do this stuff for a living. Until then i guess i get to work and take pictures from the ground.

Here is a few of mine taken recently.

SE-JHS Robinson R-44 at Bromma Airport

SE-HPX "Polis 946" Eurocopter EC-135P2+ over Arlanda Airport in fading light

Keep the rotors turning!
