That's the best I can do for chicks & choppers - unfortunately they're mostly covered up with Nomex!

This is a shot of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office Alert 1 lifting off. We have 2 OH-58s we use for law enforcement missions, and a UH-1 we use for EMS/Fire supression missions. I hope to get some pictures of the UH-1 in here shortly.
This is another picture of Alert 1 flying by NASA's vehicle assembly building in a neighboring county.
This is Orange Couny Sheriff's Office Chase One, visiting.

This MD is used for many different things, it recently visited our hangar and I got this picture of it, I really like the fact that it is amazingly quiet!

That's Claire (L) and Isobel with MY torch!.
Keep your pants on T_richard, Claire's going out with my base pilot, and Isobel is happily married to a guy twice your size
Squirrel, were you flying VIH C-FBER on the fires? I was down with 407 ALM every few days poaching work off you guys.

Another Catenary Photo
I am not sure who is in this shot. It may be during training as the pad was designed for a JetRanger.
One of the previous pilots that tried using the Astar for this same pad admitted to getting into severe resonance. Not a good place to be, surrounded by wires, 700 feet AGL and 4400 feet ASL.

Well thought and learned response C4, keep those professional comments comming
C-RH, you can always count on me, and (evidently) you can always predict me too !
On a more professional note, it IS interesting that an Astar , or possibly any other multi-blade system prone to ground resonance, couldn't safely land there.
I wonder what the 407 would do in that situation? It is NOT prone to ground resonance in normal Ops, possibly due to the method of mounting the rear skid tube to the fuselage.
PS. I just had a beer with JR, fresh out of Eugene OR, and now settling in Canmore AB.
