Just in case this one has passed you by you can get TAF's and METAR's direct to your mobile (if it's got wap).

The service is provided by avbrief and is excellent and free, the address you need to put in your phone you want to use it is

Alternatively, send a text message of the required airfield (4 letter ICAO) to [phone]. Returned text message is very quick - less than 15 secs normally!

Ah, but at what cost? The avbrief wap service is essentially free.

Hi all,

the mentioned site didn't work with my Wap-device.
Isn't a problem at all, because I've another free link - its in german - but no Problem to put in the icao code and metar and taf is international ;-)
I checked it out with eggw - and got the actual wheather as well
