Starting up is fine. It's getting out the hangar door that can be a bit tricky...

Becoming a helicopter pilot

Hi,

put a short sequence together from the influences in my childhood which might be responsible for becoming what I am

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuZlewtb8hQ

May be someone had the same memories

Greetings Flying Bull

MrEdd

It is in reference to the UK Rules of the air. Rule 5 refers to the minimum heights to be adhered to when flying at low level.

If you search the forum for "Rule 5" you will enrich your own mind by reading the vast discussions that were had on the subject.

I don't rekon (sic) that he cares either. The vid was obviously shot in the USA.

But he might well know the difference between a PPL and an ATPL...

Guess iŽll get my mind on it when i convert my FAA to JAA.

I have seen the full video and spoke to the production guys.

Turns out that the bike is actually tow launching the 300.
It is hooked up via 30lb fishing line with the drag set.
They were testing the 300 as a platform for a gyro and the biker was still hooked up and forgot & was heading home for the day.

It all seems very calm here but you should see what happened when he got home to his garage.
