Where doe the Integrated Standby Instruments System (ISIS) derived its power from?
 

hey guys need help with deriving the power source of the
Integrated Standby Instruments System (ISIS) in the airbus a330 200 series

is there any website which gives the perfect definition and source information???

DC Ess Bus generally, back up power Hot Bus 1. FCOM 1, 1.34.25 ISIS, Architecture. :ok:

Just thinking about it logically - you should be able to come up with the right answer with a basic knowledge of the elec system . . .

While it is in the FCOM 1.34.20 P1, also try looking at the AAIB report (2/2008) of G-EUOB and the electrical failure it suffered. In the descriptive text, there is a good explanation of the power sources of the ISIS. In short, it says that the ISIS has two power sources - Ess DC and HBB with prior standby horizons just being Ess DC powered unless modified to the ISIS state.
