Question EXPAT OR NOT TO EX...That is the question !

I work for a long haul operation based in the U.K and have the opportunity to move to Cork and commute from there. ( It has to be cork in Ireland, as that's where er in doors has been offered a job) Does any one have a good contact for accountants who specialise in living the ex-pat lifestyle and anyone currently commuting from cork who could give advise as to how easy/difficult it is and what days/times of the year to avoid...

Wouldnt you then have to pay IRISH TAX, which believe it or not is even worse than UK TAX!
