Unhappy ILS at LHBP

Hi there,

If the frequencies for the below respective locators are u/s does it mean that we cannot use the locator/ILS at LHBP?

LOCATOR BUF FREQ 381KHZ OUT OF SERVICE DUE TO RECONSTRUCTION
LOCATOR BDA FREQ 343KHZ OUT OF SERVICE DUE TO RECONSTRUCTION
LOCATOR BUA FREQ 403KHZ OUT OF SERVICE DUE TO RECONSTRUCTION.

Any light anyone could shed would be greatly appreciated.

No, it just means that those NDB's are out of service, you can still fly the ILS.

The chart will state the minimum navaids required for the approach, what does it say?

Are you getting confused between the out of service locators (Lctr), which are a low powered NDB, and the localiser (LOC)?

I don’t have current charts for LHBP but the charts I do have, dated last year, don’t make mention of locators for the ILS, only the localiser.

Thank you both for your input, I can see now on the charts that they are indeed low powered NDB's, therefore no issues. I take it this would be an issue if an airport only had an NDB approach, in which case we'd need to use the next available landing apparatus but obviously with higher minima...just for my understanding...am I on the right track. Thanks again.

Locators are gone. It is now an ILS/DME/GNSS airport.
