Curtain, Hijack and A320

Dear All,

I would like to know if your airline has a procedure of closing the curtain between galley and cabin when one of the pilot comes out of the flight deck to use the rest room.

My airline recently removed all curtains from the entire fleet in an effort to reduce the takeoff weight, Despite, an air safety circular 3/2010 from the DGCA asking the curtain to be closed.

I am just gathering this data to send it management for reconsideration.

I want to know what the international airlines do in this regard.

Thanks in advance
