Europe to Thailand operations
My company is operating from the UK and Northern Europe to Thailand this winter. I have no experience beyond the Middle East and could really do with practical advice please on operations, ATC, weather etc.
I have looked in Part C and LIDO to get some info but nothing is more useful than practical information from people who regularly fly these routes.
Feels like being thrown in the deep end and having only recently moved to the left seat and rostered with a junior FO with not much experience doesn't help either.
Thank you in advance.

BKK tower is mainly staffed with females and they talk very very quietly.
Indian airspace is insanely busy, even at 2 in the morning.
FIR boundary crossings from Kolkata to Dhaka to Yangon are, ah, entertaining. You'd think for all the tech industry that comes out of that part of the world they would have kept some and applied it to their ATC system. At least you probably won't be routed via CHILA intersection on A599. There should be a note there, "Abandon hope all ye who fly over here."
