CAP 371

I'm doing some research on practices in other airlines.
Can the annual leave be used as part of mandatory days off based on CAP 371?
Thank you in advance for any reply ,reference or arguments for or against to clarify this .

A day off is a day free of any duty that shall include two local nights of 8 hours between 2200 and 0800 local time.

So holiday, sick etc. fall within the requirement of a day off.

P.S. In a previous life I worked for one cargo airline where perhaps returning from one month of leave they would then be be demanding their 8 days off that fell due during their leave
