Decel point to thresold A320 computation

Hey guys!

I wonder, how the decel point on A320 is calculated by the Computer?
I've read that on fully managed descent it takes few miles of level flight to decelerate to Sspeed - does it take into account also the GS slope? Does it take about 5nm for a 3 degrees glide slope and 10 for a steeper approach?
