Operating PA31 in high temperatures

Does anyone have experience in operating a PA31-350 in high ambient temperatures above the figures in the POH?

Yes and no. When "downunder" we used to regularly fly when it was hot, but not when it exceeded our temperature charts which I believe stopped at 44 degrees C. I do remember leaning the engine for take off and also vividly recall how close the end of the runway was for many of the take-offs.
