Converting to UK CAA from other EASA state

Need to ask if someone could clearify how the procedure is to converting to UK CAA from another EASA state.
I have downloaded and filled out a SRS1136 form, but I wondering if it would be enough to scan and send it by email or does it needs to be sent via regular post?
What kind of documents do I need to attach together with the form, it seems that I also needs to have a signature from a Certifier, is that correct?

I will be in the UK later on, would it be easier to arrange this on site than by sending all these forms?
Today I have an ATPL-A, Embraer 170-190 rating and a SEP.

If someone have experience from converting I would appreciate your inputs.
