Instrument question meridian

When the direction of the magnetic meridian inclines to the left of the true meridian?
Deviation = East
Deviation = West
Variation = East
Variation = West

Deviation I know for sure, but east or west?

And
Flux detector valve?
a)

b)
An element used in the gyro magnetic reading compass that senses the effect of the earth's magnetic field as an electro-magnetically induced voltage.

I have provided detailed answers to two of your previous questions. On each occasion you have then deleted the thread without giving any indication of whether or not you understood the answers.

Do you intend to do the same with all of your threads?

If this is the case you will probably find that members will not waste their time answering your questions.

Oh sorry. I have read and understand the questions. Thank you.
I just thought the questions didn't fit so good in here.
Hope you don't take it personally, I didn't mean it that way. Sorry.

OK.

Now if you do the following google searches you will find the answers to your questions in this thread. It should take about 2 minutes to do them all.

Direct reading magnetic compass

Remote magnetic compass

Compass deviation

Compass variation.

You will find that your statement that

Quote:
Deviation I know for sure
Is incorrect.

PPRuNe members will be happy to help you, but they will expect you to have done a little bit of DIY research/study first.
