Airside Pass

Hello does anyone know approximately how long it takes to get an air side pass issued? I am currently working on a temporary 60 day pass have cos my disclosure ready to send off and references covering the last 5 years etc. Someone told me its up to 6 months?

I think it varies quite a lot. I have a applied for 2 airside passes (both in the UK) within 18 months of each other (so the information to be processed was more or less the same) and the first one was issued aster about 2-3 weeks. The second one took closer to 2 months.
