Question Night Hours

Can anyone tell me the number of night hours needed before starting a CPL course.
Will a night rating on its own suffice or do I need to build a few night hrs.

None needed AFAIK to start the course. You will, however, need the hours to get the CPL issued. Can't remember the number, but you'll find it in CAP 55 or 56 - can't remember which it is. Either way, you should read it, or preferably get your own copy. Your Flying Club/school should have a copy you can borrow.
