command upgrade questions

Looking for some possible questions that may be asked for an upcoming command upgrade interview especially scenario based, all weather ops and emergencies.

Been reading the systems, ops manual and jepp text...now need some questions to put these into practical knowledge...

thanks

Probably a good idea to speak with mates who have recently been upgraded within the company and ask what the go is... they would be able to point you in the right direction i would think, since your upgrade exam/questions will likely be very similar!

Good luck.

You should expect questions that will be intended to test your management skills. One member of cabin crew goes sick down route, what next? for example. Talk to other captains in your company, see what they say. For several down route scenarios part of the answer is, "contact the company on HF/ACARS". Good luck!

"contact the company on HF/ACARS"

Or use your mobile if you don't have those facilities and make it clear that you will be claiming the cost of the call back from the company as well!
