Biggin Hill EGKB

Does anyone have experience using Biggin Hill with a GIV or similar aircraft? Delays, amount of light aircraft traffic, nearby hotels, etc.
We are looking at going there instead of the usual Luton as it is closer to where the pax need to end up.

I would talk to Jet Aviation UK. They handle GV. +44 1959 579600

Excellent facilities

you donŽt need Jet Aviation, just go via the airport - they handle as good and also can arrange pickup and driveup to the a/c
Given the size of apron, youŽd have to contact them in advance. Less delays than the other London airports IME, however loads of local, small a/c traffic but excellent ATC.
Used it very often, a nice little airport...

And from an ATC point of view, no delays to talk of.

You are kept inside controlled airspace until about 10 nm from touchdown - as you join the ILS.

I'm sorry to say that I've used both the airport and Jet Aviation and the service offered by the Jet Aviation is the one I 'd recommend.

They also offer hangarage facilities which I don't believe the airport do.
