Smile Tits on a nun!

Well fellow aviators, I have just read the news about PPSC, and I am somewhat surprised and disapointed, as I am sure a lot of people are, especially the ones who have lost cash.

I was hoping to return and do my ATPL's with the school after doing the PPL ground school, but I guess I will have to source the tuition else where.

I just wanted to say, I thought the guys teaching at PPSC were the nuts, and I particularly remember David Webb (his famous saying something is as useful as tits on a nun, until the student Monk questioned it, remember Dave?), Roger Henshaw, the perfect Gentleman and extremely knowledgable on every dam aviation subject, Keith Williams the master of POF and engines, John Hopper the X bird seed flight engineer, top guy, Martin Taggart, top man on NAV, and I think I can remember the difference between a rhumb line and a great circle .

Just wanted to say thanks guys for helping me, and I was sorry to hear the sad news .

Hey CAT3,

Are you out at PanAm in Fort Pierce? If so, how's things going for you out there? If my memory serves me right, aren't you on the 'Elite Programme' with PAT? Are they sending you to an alternative ATPL groundschool?

Cheers,

VFE.

Thumbs up

VFE,

Hello there sir, and I must admit I am impressed with your memory, you are quite correct, I was out in Fort
Pierce. Unfortunately I have terminated my contract on the elite course due to the fact I was having some difficulty in my life which I am sorting out at the moment . I am hoping to return to my training by the end of the year, but I am going to see how my finances go.

Thank you for your interest

Thought so.

I hope things work out for you (I'm sure they will) and you get back to your studies soon.

I was due to enroll on the elite programme too but at the last moment had a sudden change of mind and decided to go integrated at BAe, Jerez. Glad I made that choice because I recieved a letter from PAT days later saying that PanAms decision to stop JAR training meant they were basically unable to offer me the elite programme. Someone must be looking down on me up there!

All the best,

VFE.

Just out of interest VFE, what is the damage on the BAe integrated course?

Cool

80'453 Euros which is about £50k - £51k depending on the exchange rate. That includes food, accomodation, equipment and test fees.
