Helicopter EASA ATPL(H) ground course

I plan to start a distance learning ATPL(H) course as soon as I complete my PPL(H). I'll mainly do so to improve my competence as I don't plan to fly helicopters commercially. I'll probably go for a CPL(H) though as I'm a ratings and certificates collector. What school would you recommend? I've been through Bristol gs for my ATPL(A) years ago and I certainly did not like their books, because their intention seemed not to explain things but rather to expose gross knowledge and recipes.

Not a rotary wing man myself, however, I've heard capt.gs is spot on in that department.

Either Phil (CAPT) or Alex (Bristol) will do you well. I have used both for helicopter distance learning and both are world class providers. The best 2 by far in my opinion, especially for helicopter study, for both materials and support. Good luck with whatever you decide.
