777/787 LPC

Can anyone recommend a good place to do a EASA 777/787 LPC? I've flown the tripler in China but can I do the check in a 787 sim? Do I need to organise my own sim partner?

My LPC expires end of July and I have a China only restriction.

Speak to BAFT they were excellent, I think you will need to do on the 777 as you need 500 hours on type to convert.

I think you need to have the difference training to do the LPC on the 787.
I can recommend TFC Käufer in Essen, or Cockpit4U in Berlin, 777 SIMs are in Frankfurt and Berlin.

If you have the country restriction and never had unrestricted you may need to do a Skills Test depending on the EASA state, check with you're authority.
Thats right you will need to have some kind of evidence of differences training even though its a common type.

EP is correct, if you have a "third country " restriction you will need to meet the requirements of :

Extract from the Regulation:
A valid class or type rating contained in a licence issued by a third country may be inserted in a Part- FCL licence provided that the applicant:
(a) complies with the experience requirements and the prerequisites for the issue of the applicable type or class rating in accordance with Part-FCL;
(b) passes the relevant skill test for the issue of the applicable type or class rating in accordance with Part-FCL;
(c) is in current flying practice;
(d) has no less than:
(i) for aeroplane class ratings, 100 hours of flight experience as a pilot in that class; (ii) for aeroplane type ratings, 500 hours of flight experience as a pilot in that type;
(iii) for single-engine helicopters with a maximum certificated take-off mass of up to 3 175 kg, 100 hours of flight experience as a pilot in that type;
(iv) for all other helicopters, 350 hours of flight experience as a pilot in that class.
Comments:
To pass the relevant skill test, the pilot must contact an examiner with a European certificate and take their skill test on a European simulator or aircraft.
b) Renewal within an ATO
In order to renew the rating, the pilot shall contact an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) that will, after evaluation of the pilot’s experience and competency, develop a training programme. After successful completion of the training programme, the ATO shall issue the applicant with a certificate, or other documental evidence that the programme has been successfully completed, to be submitted to the competent authority when applying for the renewal. The certificate or documental evidence needs to contain a description of the training programme. Afterwards the pilot will take the corresponding proficiency check with a European examiner on a European aircraft or simulator.
The pilot may then apply for the renewal of the rating by filling in the application form for the renewal of a type rating.
