ICAO ATPL to EASA ATPL

Hello friends,

i'd like to know what are the steps for converting my ICAO ATPL to EASA ATPL, actually i'm flying in Brazil and i haven't any type rated aircraft in my license, so what do i need to convert? i'm also Italian, so it's another open door for flying in Europe, cause here in Brazil it's almost impossible to get hired in any airline company...

First step is to pass all 14 ATPL exams. Then make sure you have the required hours - do you have 500 hours multi crew time? (You mentioned no type ratings)

If no, you'll only be able to get a CPL/IR - 22 hours training and 2 flight tests in a SEP/MEP then an MCC course.

If yes, it's a little fuzzy in your case. Normally if you work for an airline you'll do an ATPL test when you do your next LPC, but without an EASA type rating, I guess you'll have to do a full TR course, then ATPL test.
