Who can answer this riddle?

Having spent the last two weeks searching all over for answers, I finally come here.

I have

Frozen EASA ATPL-H/IR exams

EASA CPL-H and FAA CPL-H/IR

Now I have started on my EASA PPL-A and will continue with an IR-A SEP.

QUESTION: Is my atpl-h /ir (I have all 14 done) exams sufficient to start adding an IR-A on my PPL-A?

Thanks in advance for replying

Yes it is. The theoretical exams are the same for the IR in either category.

Just out of interest, whats the reasoning behind the PPL(A)/SEIR? Generally (H) drivers do that to take advantage of the 10 hour FW>rotary IR conversion. Or do you want to switch teams?
