Finighing trainining in another EASA country
Hi,
I have a UK PPL EASA license and I am about to finish my CPL in Greece. The CAA has granted approval for that, but they said that they would need to choose the Examiner. My concern is that it would cost me a lot to get an Examiner from the UK sent over to Greece for the exam. I don't know though if they would choose an examiner from Greece.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
Thank you.

They're not sending over an examiner, they'll get an authorized examiner from greece to do your test. Basically, the examiner show his credentials just has to sit through a ppt about the UK CPL skills test requirements and pay them some dough. Happens all the time. I believe the list of authorized examiners for every country is available on the CAA website
I wouldn't worry about it.
