Life of an airline pilot?
Hi guys,
I'm curious as to what a usual work week looks like for an airline pilot..
I'm aware each company will have it's own setup, but what could you expect, how manys days a week, how long off, what is the max time flying, how long are rest stops, is it easy to get leave, how much leave do you get etc...?

Have a look at this mate, this site has a collection of blogs from pilots from all walks of life. It's not the most up to date collection but should be more than adequate to give you a proper idea.

Schedule and roster varies widely between operators, not to mention between airlines and corporate charters. This site gives you an idea of the requirements, renumeration, and schedule of quite a few EU operators.

It's really too varied to just give a simple answer to. For example, some airlines have 5 days on, 4 days off (ryanair) while others have 6-3, or 7-7. A lot of operators have a holiday ban during the busy summer season, while others have a seniority list where you have to "bid" for your time off.
