Private Pilots License and Employment/Cadet scheme (West Atlantic UK)

A while ago my attention was brought to the West Atlantic Cadet Scheme that is available to those who hold an EASA Private Pilots License (PPL). This is an opportunity that I would like to grasp when given the opportunity.

My question to the forum is; How can a PPL holder go about making themselves appear as an attractive candidate to employers? (Without the addition of Commercial License(s) as I believe CPL and IR holders are exempt).

Thanks very much in advance for the help and advice.
