Upset Prevention Recovery Training – where?

Since it is going to be mandatory from 2018, I would like to know schools that offer this training and possibily in continental Europe.

Yes, but they're in the UK and I am looking for something in the continent primarily because of the £.

Mandatory for what? As part of CPL training or as a separate certificate?

Please don't tell me I'll have to spend even more money on this piece of paper to have a chance?

RBGMW - why concern about the pound? At the current rate of 1.2E to 1GBP that will represent good value. Try this - Stall Spin Awareness Training + http://www.crmeurope.com/course/loc/

Did not know CRM Aviation had a program. Good to know as I am considering them for MCC/JOC.

Sorry to put a negative spin on this, but it is yet another example of the regulators/government being in cahoots with business. Another piece of paper we will need to have and at our expense. If you don't know how to get out of a stall or spin how did you get a PPL never mind a CPL? I'd did spins, spiral dives, stalls the lot in my PPL.

Yes but now you get the luxury of doing it again, in an expensive acrobatic airplane, for 3000+ € :P Don't get me wrong, I'd love to do it for fun if I had the money, but another piece of paper? I'm still salty about being forced to do an MCC course, and a JOC also seems to become more and more important to just get noticed.

Big potential for mis selling here.

Many flying instructors may offer you "stall spin awareness training", "upset recovery training", "high alpha training" or any other fancy names.

Unless it is an EASA approved on aeroplane UPRT course, it won't count for the training which will (from 2018) be mandatory prior to your first multi crew type rating course.

UPRT

I'm sure CRM Aviation are more than qualified to deliver their UPRT on their two EASA approved T67's, G-OCRM and G-UCRM, together with their EASA approved MCC simulator and highly experienced instructor team. Role on 2018.

Thanks

Rob,

Confused. What has an MCC simulator got to do with UPRT?
