Please Provide me a list of good flying schools In USA

Good Day Everyone,

First of all, I would like to appreciate everyone about their experiences and views about the flying schools since couple of days I have been looking for some Flight Training schools / Flying Schools in the USA after some searches over the internet got some schools but when I tried to get some reviews about them from posted reviews over here. I was bit confused shall I apply or not because I was about to go to Epic Flight Academy in Florida that is why I didn't do anything yet I was going through each schools reviews over here but it is really hard to find a good one. I have gone through other posts as well but I would appreciate if I get a list of school which is good as per your experience.

I would like to ask you all if you can help me out to give a list of flying schools of Florida , Texas and California and lastly, Virginia it would be a great help.

I look forward to hearing from you

I would recommend you pick a state you would like to train in, for example Florida. You should then book a short break over there and visit your preferred flight schools, talk to them face to face, get an idea of how things work and most important of all talk to students studying there.
If you don't visit a school personally before signing up you will only have yourself to blame if things go wrong.

Good luck.

Hello Wonder,

Thanks for your prompt response,

To be honest, I would visit but you know the visa process takes some time because of this time taking I can not go, If I want to go for my training in August and I won't be able to make a visit. If I go for a visit I won't be able to go training.

I sent an email to Hillsbro flight training (Oregon) what you would say, I have been some good reviews especially someone who have been living there posted that it is good to go there.

Lastly, give me names according to your experience which you had. I can have a look and talk to them.

I look forward to hearing from you

Good luck.
Yes you can change schools - I did it relatively painlessly - I lost all my ground school credits and only half the hours counted towards the 141- but it was worth the jump as I figured out early that the school was not for me- didnt need to leave the country - all Sevis TSA Visa changes done by the new school

@ danialpirzad:

If you're looking for flight schools in the US in particular, why don't you have a look at the "North America" section of the forum (see PPRuNe Worldwide) - checkout the following link:

Hi Parabungle,

Thanks for your comment,

But I believe changing a school is not a good option but I would keep note of it that I would be having the option to do something if I am not satisfied with the school

@Transsonic2000

Thank you for your comment as well,

Surely, I would be having a look at the list of schools on the given link

Moreover, I might be going for Hillsboro just waiting for the last day until tomorrow because I have heard good things about them and Oregon is a tax-free state and their aviation teaching is good though since you can get a degree apart from your training. But I would be going through all the schools link which you have posted and choose a good one among that to be on safe side.

Lastly, I apologize for the late reply due to time difference

Hope you all having a great weekend

Kind Regards

Fair enough, my mistake.
