EASA ATPL can be renewed on the bases of ICAO ATPL ME IR Current

Hi All

I have a JAA ATPL which expired last check flight was done in 2009. My ICAO ATPL which is current. Now I am planning to do my JAA to EASA conversion same time wants EASA ME IR.

What do I need to do, would there be any exemption available from EASA to accept current ICAO ATPL.

There are lots of guys flying around with ICAO License having EASA license so please give your feed back.

Cheers
