Which school to go to after your ATPLs?

Hello all,

Sorry if this thread is elsewhere but I have searched and not found a great deal to help with my questions.

So I'm soon to finish my ATPLs, phew! (In the uk) Then need to finish my hour building.....any hints and tips on good deals that don't include USA would be appreciated. £150 per hour here at moment is just a bit rich for me.

However, I drifted off, so what is the main thing I am after.

So at the ripe age of 45 I am determined to crack on and finish all my commercial training and get a job. I lay in the dilemma of not having stacks of cash so some schools such as CTC, though seem great might be out of my reach. I am therefore trying to follow good advice from friends 'find a school that doesn't have a bad reputation' visit them and pick one'

Sounds easy huh?

No, as I just can't get any feedback on many schools at all so trying to get a feel for which ones to visit.......tricky.
Money, as for a number of us is an issue so I am weighing up the balance between a facility that will allow me to get my training complete in good time, for a good price and paying more to have a better(?) chance of getting a job.

So all you wonderful people out there.....can anyone give me some feedback on schools (again not the states). I have been looking to CTC, FTE, GAIR, BCFT, Flycommand pilot training.

Any ideas?

Have a look at Bartolini Air in Poland. Good value and fast (CPL/IR/ME in 2 months, not the 6 months most places seem to take).

Thanks. I have briefly looked at them but could only find reviews a few years old. Wonder how they are getting on now. You are right though that the price and timing seem good. I will look them up for sure.
