Based upon my research, if you can generate the funds as fast as you use them and are also working a job it may take you 2-3 years if you keep constant pressure on it.

Having acquired your frozen ATPL, you can expect to get a job within a few years however, it's likely you'll have to relocate and fly something other than big commercial jets for a few years.

Make sure you start networking along your path. What you know is the baseline - it's who you know that gets you places.

Hello!

Im currently working full-time in aviation, going down the modular route!

Heres my plan...

PPL OCT15-JUN16

Taking my exams first before flying. Started them in OCT15 to be finished by APR16. Then doing an intensive 45 hour flying program in 4-5 weeks from 01MAY16.

ATPL EXAMS JUN16-JUN17

Distance learning - Bristol ground school

HOURS BUILDING 31OCT16-26NOV16

Chandler Air Service - Phoenix, AZ - 80-100HRS

CPL/MEP/IR SEP17-NOV17

Either at Bartolini Air in Poland or Diamond Flight Academy in Sweden.

JOC COURSE DEC17

Simtech, Dublin, Ireland

That's plan A anyways....

Best of luck,

Scott
