Career Prospects 2015/2016 fATPL?

Hi All

I am seriously considering starting the route to a fATPL. It has always been a dream to be a pilot but always been a financial hurdle too high. I am now in a position at 26 years old to actually be able to afford it, albeit part time alongside work.

The truth is I don't mind the financial commitment but I am unsure of what prospects lay ahead at the end. There is a lot of information online about fATPL pilots not being able to find work and there is a huge amount of unemployment but a lot of this seems to be outdated (2003-2013 in the heart of a financial crisis).

What are the current prospects like? I see a lot of jobs in South East Asia and I am prepared to relocate on completion to get the experience needed.

I just thought it would be good to get some up to date feedback!

Thanks
