Few questions about renewing
I have some questions I would like answered about renewals. More for curiosity than anything. I completed my training a number of years ago and after some problems (which I'm not getting into)I was unable to fly, obviously with time my liceneses started to expire. I completed my PPL in America so thats long gone, both my CPL and MEIR are expired and I'm not sure what way that leaves my fATPL's.
If for some mad notion I decided I wanted to renew what would I have to do exactly? Could I just apply for the tests after a couple of lessons or would I have to start over?
More just out of curiosity than anything so any comments are welcome.

Hi mate..
For how long has your MEP/IR already expired for? ATPL theory normally does not have an expiration date after you successfully completed the initial MEP/IR test .
Do you have a UK JAA CPL (A) licence?
Let us know so we that we can help you further !!
Cheers !

To renew your MEP/IR, it is training as required at an ATO plus a Proficiency Check. The training recommended under EASA is stated at Appendix 4 in CAA Standards Document 14(A). You are recommended for test by the ATO upon completion of training.

If you hold a FAA Private with ASEL/AMEL, all you need to do is a Flight Review with a FAA CFI to renew these privileges.
