EASA B737 CL & NG Type Rating Doubt

Hello everyone!!

I have a doubt regarding the EASA B737-300/900 Type Rating.

Since is only one endorsement in the license the says B737-300/900 and that covers the 73 Classic and the NG.

What happens if you are only flying a 737-300 all year, can you fly a 737-800 or what happens then? do you need to be current with the license regarding the landings on the 300 and 800??

If anyone can clear my doubts will be quite thankful!

Best Regards

Aless.
