CATS CAA ATPL Exam Centre Luton - Any news on this would be great
I have seen that a CAA ATPL exam centre has opened at CATS Luton branch, would anyone be able to provide some more info on this?
I know the obvious thing would be to give them a call, but I wonder if there is anyone who has actually attended this centre and could shed some light on this?
How many computers they have?
Any thoughts on the new e-exam system?
Is it user friendly?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated as this is a very practical location for those living in London, and greater London (like me).
Trains seem to be direct into Luton and and very regular...which is perfect as some of the other places where a little difficult to get to, especially if you do not drive

I took exams there last week and found it a pleasant experience
There are 8 exam stations
The invigilator and the other staff at the centre were very friendly and helpful guiding me to the rooms
The system is extremely user-friendly it felt like I was just practicing questions in a classroom environment
Nobody ran out of time for any exams and the others seemed relaxed also
I had a long wait between exams so just ate downstairs and studied in the centre on the wifi
So yes a thumbs up to the CAA and those involved
As for transport I drove in and parking was fine in the car park
