First IR Renewal
Hello,

My IR will be expiring in mid July and my first renewal will be in the sim which can be taken 3 months before the expire of my current IR!

If I was to renew now would my IR extend a year from the date of renewal or would it still expire at mid July next year giving me 14 months of use?

It will expire 12 months from the date listed on the ratings page of your licence if re-validated in the 3 months prior to this date, so yes, you will indeed get the 14 months you state.
