I am in London and want to apply to EFT and they want a $500 deposit for PPL.
Does anyone know if a visa is refuse, will they refind the money. Also if the visa is alte and i cannot make the agreed start date will the deposit be used for the next available date or will i need to pay another deposit.

Hi
I paid my deposit and i got my I20 as well. But there is a small mistake in my I20 (Its my fault). I have asked them to amend my I20,
Their communication is bit slow, and u can't get hold of anyone over the phone.

Yeah but I would advise people not to take your word for it. There's 9 of us on our course. Each one of us has different opinions. My advice to anyone is that as this is a huge decision; Spend some money and go and visit the schools first.
It's a very small expenditure considering your going to lay down extremely large sums to one of these schools

Is anyone currently studying the APP at European Flight Training ? How do you rate the school ? Is the price worth it ? Are the instructors qualified enough to teach the 14 EASA ATPL subjects..? they have stated in the website that the EASA IR conversion is not included in the APP course... how much time does it take in the UK and how much does it approximately cost ?
Concerning the job opportunities after graduation from this school I just got an email from them stating that it's between 20-30 %.

I did my PPL with EFT a few years back and they were fantastic. I had the luxury of visiting a few schools whilst on holiday and EFT were far better than the other FTO's I managed to see.
I would suggest you do your research thoroughly and don't be put off by some of the negative posts on here. You tend to find that there are some seriously bitter individuals on proon.
The visa process etc is a bit of a ball ache but as long as you read the small print and do your prep you can't go too far wrong.
You get out of it what you put in so make sure you are thorough in your research and consider all responses, not just the bitter and twisted opinions. My PPL was completed in 20 days in minimum hours and under budget. Wouldn't have been possible without the help of my instructors, fellow pupils and my own hard work.

I have the same question as on the first post on this page about the deposit. I would like to book a course with EFT but if I don't get a visa on time or other things can happen, and I would need to change the start date to later one. Do I have to pay one more deposit? Does anybody know that?
