JAA CPL IR frozen ATPL, Where to train?

Hi,
I am about to start the long steep path of trying to get a JAA CPL IR frozen ATPL.

I think I am going to do my PPL in the UK but for the commercial aspect I will have to do it in either the states or New Zealand (for finance reasons). Does anyone know of any good training schools in these places, or at least the places to avoid.

Cheers

Guy

please do a search on here, there is a wealth of information on your very questions.
Just one thing, please think about what benefit you would gain by doing a JAA PPL and wether it is worth it for all the extra money you pay.

Thanks for that IRISPILOT. Apologise but I am new to this discussion board and am having trouble searching the relevant threads. Do you think I should not be doing the JAA PPL. Do I not need it for going for the commercial side of things.

Cheers
