FI & Me-IR?

Hi,

Still planning around work etc - Is there anything to stop me doing my ME-IR just before or after my FI rating?

I want to instruct, as a result I am grateful for the additional hours you get!

Don't want to lose the currency on the IR. But would like to do it all in one sitting due to time off from my current work.

Thanks,

Bub

Do you mean to take the FI checkride at the same time as your IR-ME renewal/revalidation ?
You cannot do the FI(a) exam in a twin, and your FI(e) will be looking at different things and skills as the IR(e).

Yes there is something stopping you, it's called time, your FIC test is all day, your ME IR test is ½ a day.

Good luck
