JAA Type vs FAA Type

On a Type Rating, does the whole FAA / JAA thing really matter?!?!

A 737 Type COULD be so cheap if so! :-(

Why are things so expensive this side of the pond!

Hang around most U.S flight schools and you will likely meet plenty of Brit' flying instructors who have done just that! I believe it's not quite the easy way to get a green card as it once was, the Yanks want some proof that you havnt actually just married for the ticket! A certain airfield in southern California had one or two well known serial Brit' wedders working in the cafe or vicinity of the schools, I believe the going rate was around several thousand dollars.
